Welcome to our homepage!
We are an interdisciplinary team of physicists, engineers, and computer scientists working in quantum information science and technology (QIST) at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Over the past two decades, QIST has grown tremendously, fueled by its vital role in advancing fundamental science and developing new technologies that offer significant advantages for various applications. Our experimental and theoretical research aims at the scalable implementation of quantum technologies at room temperature. We use quantum optics, quantum information science, and nanophotonic engineering tools to develop quantum information systems for applications in computation, communication, sensing, and metrology. The lab is led by Prof. Rajveer Nehra.
We have openings for experimental and theoretical positions. Please contact Prof. Nehra and see here for more details.
